A little La Sallian History !!

Saint John Baptist de La Salle is the founder of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, Patron of Christian Teachers. He was born at Reims, France 30 April 1651, ordained priest 9 April 1678, and died 7 April 1719. He was beatified 19 February 1888 and canonized on 24 May 1900. He was proclaimed Patron of Christian Teachers 15 May 1950.
