Puzzling Equation

"Proof" that 2 = 1:

a = b
a2 = ab
a2 - b2 = ab-b2
(a-b)(a+b) = b(a-b)
a+b = b
b+b = b
2b = b
2 = 1

Does this argument make sense?

Aiyoh.....if (a-b) is zero., as it should be from your initial assumption...than any solution derived from this is trivial....which means it just isn't happening dudes......that's about it...
