Just in case we have school friends out there wondering what we look like after all these years, look no more! Find out all about us through this link. I'll be updating this site with more details as I receive them. Bahaman and Harjit, sorry I did not manage to get your pictures before you left the dinner venue. Would definitely like to get them the next time we meet. I would appreciate if all you could leave your personal details under your own profile (excluding your telephones as these are public sites). Please include details such as your current address, email, birthday, the industry you're in and any other details you wish to share.

Easy way to join the mailing list - Just a click away!

It is fantastic that more and more of our buddies are coming in from the cold - with the latest additions of Francis Xavier Nathan and Gerard Martin. Welcome guys! Glad that both of you managed to find your way to the group. Looking forward to more stories from you after such a long break.

As more of our "lost" buddies turn up, it is getting to be a challenge just keeping track of the changes in email addresses as well as ensuring that none of the boys are left out of the Fun! It seems more practical now that we all subscribe to ONE mailing list (listed at the bottom of this page) so that ONLY A SINGLE email address needs to be sent for all to receive the same mails (please refer to previous posting on this subject in January). For privacy purpose, no email addresses will be printed on this page.
:
To facilitate easy tracking of members on our mailing list, please note the members already on the mailing list and those yet to sign up. This list will be updated as more members sign up on the list. Please note that the posting of mail from Francis Xavier is taken from his email to the mailing list. It should also be noted that members can still write to each other through their personal addresses should they wish their messages to reach a smaller group of the boys.

1,000 Hits!

Wow! Double wow! Thank you all for dropping in so very often. I hope this site has to some extend deliver some of its promises - as a gathering point for all LSBC76s! In the very short time that we had come together (since our first drink at Waikiki and Basil's suggestion for the development of a website for the boys during his less than conscious moments), we have now become a daily drop-in site for the boys.

Our obvious highlight for February must be the Big Bash at the Cungdinh Vietnamese Restaurant in Bangsar. What a turnout! The boys' participation level actually surprised many of us. Great response! Check out the mug shots of those who turned up (at the Members' Profiles). Meanwhile, a little bird told me that some of our boys are up to something again. Will share more when something tangible develops.

Some of you may have heard that Georgie is leaving town on 28th February (Monday) and are planning a "Do" this weekend (possibly Friday evening). Do drop a note if you are interested. We'll get in touch with you. For the out-of-towners who happen to be back in town this weekend and want to join in the fun, please call anyone of the local boys for details.

Keep coming back for more! We promise more surprises and fun for you each time you drop in. Obviously, we do also appreciate your occasional bouquets and brickbats as you whisk past us in your busy schedule. Your comments in whatever form will certainly liven things up on these pages! So, over to you folks!

A Special Prayer!

In case some of you are feeling stressed! Posted by Hello

A Letter From Francis Xavier Nathan!

Dear Boon An,
:
It was great to hear from you. I feel that I'm going back in time and it's great. Never really thought that I'd ever meet or get in touch with our great friends. Once again I salute the guys behind this whole thing.
:
From LSB, I went to CHS (where I ran wild for a while). After which I did my 'A' levels at Vanto PJ.( with the intention of doing law but due to financial constraints, it didn't materialise). Went into business after that and thats what I've been doing since.
:
I live in the UK now with my lovely wife Thabo and my two little ones, Amelia 12 and Ashant 9. I'm a builder (contractor) and also do a bit of trading. My details are as follows:-
:
Add : 23, Derwent Close, Amersham
HP7 9PG . U.K.
Tel/fax : 0044 (0) 1494 764875
Mob : 0044 (0) 7932 518677
( use' 0' in bracks when calling locally)
:
The only guys I've been in touch with is Chandra , Harry Joe ( Shankaran), Harjit(Raj) and Christopher Nicholas. Did some business with Harjit S( Coke M'sia). I've met Basil, B'Keat and a couple of other guys. Met Gerard Martin in UK who is a prosecutor with the QC.
:
Also met Raymond P'hang ( one year our junior). He lectures Economics. When I first met him, I was taken a back with his deep English excent (he's been here for 20 yrs). After a few meetings/outings with him he started speaking to me in Tamil - "ipedi matcha" and so on. He is quite a funny guy - keeps reminding me that he grew up in B'fields. He brought his dad and mum Mr &Mrs Peter P'hang over to my place. We've become quite close.
:
I've always wondered what happened to Eddy Hon( sat beside me in 3 blue), Bahaman, Joon Leong, Boon Sim, and the list goes on. Well now there's hope that we'll soon meet.
:
I speak to Chandra quite often but he never mentioned anything abt meeting up with you guys. Will call him today and to give him a piece of my mind.
:
Thanks for writing and pls keep in touch.
:
Best regards.

BON VOYAGE, ANDREW!

Happy hour at Waikiki. Andrew, glad to have you back for the New Year! The folks are certainly looking forward to meet you again up north in two months' time. From left to right - Wilson, Basil, Meng Chai, Ragu, Eric, Siva, Ban Keat and Andrew. Posted by Hello

Loh Sang at 12:30am at South Pacific Restaurant, PJ New Town! Never enough for Prosperity! Hope some of you guys were not sneezing that night cause we were all laughing at your expense at some of the antics you guys did when you were all younger. We certainly will repeat some of these at other sessions! So watch out! From left to right - Meng Chai, Wilson, Eric, Ban Keat, Basil, Andrew, Ragu and Siva. Posted by Hello

Special Thanks To Our Main Sponsor - MEGA SYNERGY

We could not have had a more enjoyable evening without the presence of music and Malaysian favourite past time - Karaoke session. This was only possible through the generosity of MEGA SYNERGY, a sound engineering company owned by our buddy, Chow Kong Hin. You may record your personal appreciation by posting thoughts here. Thanks Kong Hin. We could not have done it without your sound system. Please also convey our sincere appreciation to Feisal. He had been most helpful.

Anyone game for sports?

Since my last posting below, a little bird told me that a few among you out there are still into sports of some kind. If guys are keen to get together for some friendlies, do drop a note here. Futsal can be a start.

Pervious posting

Just picked up a thought from Eric about having friendlies for the boys. The thought came to him while he was in shower (not sure what's the connection between shower and sports). I'm following up on Eric's suggestion (read his full comment on "Webpage For The Boys") by getting further thoughts and suggestions from you guys. While I'll not be putting on any cheerleading garb, I'll be there to cheer you on. Unlike some of you who have been keeping really fit with your weekly games (Hee Keong, Keat and others), I'm having serious "middle management problem" at my age. What say you guys? Go! Go! GO!
